The wonderful world of bartending is a fun, flexible, fast-paced environment, where graduates make friends, meet exciting people, and earn cash daily. Bartender of America Bartending School graduates earn a life long skill that is always in demand.
Bartender of America Bartending School is located at 9651 Baltimore Avenue Ste 202, College Park, MD 20740. The school is comprised of an Enrollment Center and a bar classroom. The classroom features an "L" shaped bar, 15' x 9' and 4' wide. Students practice with twelve different types of bar glassware, various bar tools, and colored water simulated as alcohol. Students study and train in a bar simulated classroom. Our facility is equipped to give students a hands on education in Mixology and Alcohol Awareness. Classes are designed for students to learn at their own pace. The course can be completed in 1 or 2 weeks with classes starting every Monday. By appointment or walk-in, an enrollment specialist will be glad to assist students with registration. Students must be at least 18 years old to enroll. We supply students with manuals and easy ways to remember how to prepare drinks. We have plenty of fun!

We will discuss what type of cocktails you would like to serve, and develop a drink menu and a liquor shopping list. We offer portable bars, ice service, glassware, spouts and spout covers. Each bartender comes equipped with a bartender's kit that includes all the necessary tools to ensure that your event is a success. Cocktail Creations is a 1 hour hands-on amateur bartending class. As soon as you walk in, with music playing and students asking for drinks it's hard not to believe you're not in a real bar! You'll learn from the best professional instructors trained in up-to-the minute mixology. Each month a different group of drinks are featured. The class consists of a brief lecture, followed by hands-on training where you step behind the bar to practice your new skills!Question & Answer

A. T.I.P.S. stands for Training Intervention Procedures. It is a program that is designed to teach serving alcohol responsibly.

Flair is the theatrical presentation of beverage making. The definition of Flair is sometimes referred to as "extreme bartending". Some examples of Flair are juggling liquor bottles, twirling bar tools, flipping cocktail shakers, and stacking multiple glasses on top of one another to make a drink.
